EDISI KINABALU IV (WHITE WATER RAFTING)

After finished our grueling expedition hiking the mount Kinabalu, we continue our activities with white water rafting at sg. Kiulu. Arrived there on Tuesday night and sleep at their campsite..not really inside the tent. but we sleep on the the ground sheet that hold together with 2 woods. (i dont know how to explain this, maybe u can look straight to the picture).
memang selesa dan best..tido next to the river, so refreshing..have a very good sleep till the next morning..

The next morning, at 10pm evrybody were ready..we were explained by the instructor bout some basic gear and safety regulations..only 6-7 person allowed in one boat.. S. Kiulu provides a level 2 rafting, a milder alternative compare to Padas with gentle rapids passing lush green jungle forests, orchards and villages. During the dry season the water level of the river is too low for rafting. so the kebarangkalian for us to capsize just only 1%..but for level 4 at Sg. Padas, the chances increase to 99%..
but they are one boat which is purposely capsised themselves so many times..wether thay want to do some practise by getting back into the boat or just bcoz of "show off" reason.. hehe we called them the "extreme boat"....

actually this skill is also important if u want to go for level 4 water rafting..lucky that this guy is not heavy, so his other friend can just pull him back to the boat..

but for my team, we were called the "rescue team" bczo we saved one person from the "extreme team" that almost drifted away by the river..

see how strong we are..and so happy we can save sumone's life..hehe

Another team called "hanyut team"..coz every person almost hanyut during the body rafting or water confident session.
