Akhirnya, official result for Powerman is out..Go check it out..
I think most of participant berjaya buat PB this year including me, faraied and black.
Faraeid n black with their sub 4 result..chan as first timer also doing great below 4 hour..Ong get 7th placing in sprint, congrats!! According to the result, ong did very well during the run but need to improve a bit his cycling to get better result next year..
Lydia also did great as first time finisher. And congrats to Kak Julie for her 4th placing..Not forgetting all duathletes from JB Nik, tajuddin, toink, zam, eddy and ayie.Congrats to all of u..

Run 1 :
Walaupun keadaan cuaca agak sepoi2 dan mendung2, aku memang tak berani nak push untuk run yg pertama..cukupla sekadar menghabiskan larian 11km dlm 1:01:12..sbb takut kaki tak larat nak hammer (poyo 1) masa cycling dan takut juga tibe2 cuaca bertukar jadi panas gilos yg bole menyebabkan aku cepat pancit…tahun ni water station bertambah sket brbanding tahun lepas..so peluang ni aku gunakan utk hydrate sebetul2nye di setiap check point tanpa berenti..Mr. black merugikan beberapa minit utk larian pertama sbb ikut my pace..die takut terlari laju lalu cramp semasa larian kedua.. Event Powerman ni nak kene pandai susun strategi agar muscle tak terkejut or cepat cramp..tapi bagi sesiapa yang trainingnye cukup, bole la memecut selaju yang mungkin untuk buat PB…
Cycle 2:
Tidak berlengah2 di transition, segera pkai helmet dan tukar kasut.. ingat nak berlari keluar dari transition (poyo 2) tapi jalan agak jem waktu tu…so terpaksala berlenggang kangkung sekejap…permulaan kayuhan just guna small crank nak adapt kan kaki..but after more than 5 km baru dpt guna crank besar dengan selesa..
agak terkezut tahun ni sebab aku tak cramp langsung sepanjang cycling (perkara yg paling ditakuti setiap tahun)..
Adakah mungkin aku hydrate dengan secukupnya or adakah mungkin cuaca yg tak berapa nak panas.. kalo nak cakap aku cukup training, rasanye 3 kali seminggu je training tahun ni dan rasanye training last year lagi KOW kot..hermmm…
Masuk lap kedua main potong2 dgan rider lain..aku potong die, die potong aku balik..agaknye lebih 4-5 kali kitorg main potong2..macam ni takde la rasa bosan sangat..hehe
Tak lupe juga utk hydrate every 10 minutes..1 water bottle fill in with Gatorade and another bottle fill in with coke..I prefer coke than 100 plus coz it made me sakit perut sumtime..and I did replace my Powerbar with mini sneaker chocolate..it taste better and of course avoiding “bonk” so I have enough energy for the last run..
Run 2 :
Kali ni azam adalah non stop running sampaila finishing line.. walaupun lap pertama cuaca dah semakin panas ( did run under the shades) tapi tetap kuatkan mental.. terserempak pula dengan black, tajuddin dan toink completing their last lap..
Alhamdulillah masuk lap kedua kepanasan dah reda..so did increase my run pace a bit..semakin dekat menuju finishing line, pace semakin laju..semangat seperti inilah yang harus ditonjolkan (poyo 3)…
Tahun ni finish at 4:40:53..my PB for Powerman..reduce 10 min than last year..but I’m not that satisfy with the result..
Run 11km = 1:01:12
Transition 1 = 1:12
Cycling 64km = 2:21:50
Transition 2 = 1:27
Run 10km = 1:14:19
Summary from the result
Way too slow on the first run. Did improve a bit on my transition time this year sebab selalonye memang suke berlengah2..Masa untuk cycling juga merupakan PB tahun ni. ( actually this is consider slow la coz most people can do 2:10 below) ...need more training on the cycling part. Last run also pretty slow.
What I regret the most this year is that I’m not pushing at all throughout the race..the indicator is that my breath does not huffing and puffing at all from beginning of the race till the end.. don’t know why I’m taking it too easy this time..walaupun cramp adalah ketakutan yg paling besar untuk aku, tapi jika aku push sedikit at least on the cycling part and the last run, mesti bole finish lagi cepat..wuaaaa..the weather is totally ookaaay, ape yang aku takut sangat nak push pun tak tau la.…wuaarghh menyesalnyer..i know I can do better but now it’s too late to realize that..
Organizing tahun ni bertambah tambah baik dari pelbagai segi..
-water station bertambah
-ais and isotonic drinks disediakan di setiap water station
-have tshirt size list during tshirt collection..untuk kali pertama setelah 2 tahun finally
I get my tshirt size except for finisher thsirt..
-more performances during lunch award..;)
Thanks to organizer for such a great event..
Really hope for better achievement and new PB again next year..can’t wait..
